Animal Kingdom

Today we took a quick trip to Disney's Animal Kingdom Park. We headed straight to Expedition Everest when we entered the park. 

After that, it was time for our Kilimanjaro Safari Fast Pass. I snapped this quick shot of the Tree of Life as we headed over to Africa. As we boarded the safari, it started to drizzle. In my opinion, some of the best safaris are in the rain. The animals seem to be more active, and you can see quite a bit. I snapped some pictures of the giraffes, elephants, rhinos and lions. 

Although we saw a lot more animals, these are my favorites.

After the safari, we headed over to the Festival of the Lion King show. A great show, and the que gave us some shelter from the rain. 

If you've never taken the time to see the shows at Disney's Animal Kingdom park, they're a wonderful break from the heat.

After the show, the rain was still coming down and we decided to head out for the day.
